: what could happen/statue of limitations

What you describe has nothing to do with the statute of limitation.

You seem to be confused about various parts of this process.

You really need to resolve this and if you need help contact me.

The officer was not required to show up for the pre-trial hearing. As you know, you were. You should make arrangements to resolve this matter as soon as possible. If you need help in doing so, call me.

Re: what could happen/statue of limitations

As you said, there is likely a warrant, which could get you arrested at any time and cause problems with other issues, like your driver's license, job applications, etc. This matter needs to be resolved, and since a few more years have not passed, it is possible that your case became stronger in your favor merely by the virtue of passing time. Contract my office for a free consultation on how to get this matter resolved.
