Legal Question in DUI Law in Massachusetts

license reinstatement

If you recieve a not guilty or dismissal of a dui charge according to Massachusetts law you can immediately ask for a hearing to request that said license be reinstated correct?I spoke with an attorney who told me you are better off waiting a few weeks before going before the court to request such a hearing. Is this true?

Re: license reinstatement

I can't speak for what every attorney does or what every situation involves, but I don't know why the attorney gave you that advice. I would ask for reinstatement of the license at the same time that the case is resolved.
