Legal Question in DUI Law in Massachusetts

Suspended License

If your license is suspended in Massachusetts but its a Rhode Island issued license, is it also suspended in Rhode Island? I was told not to surrender it to Massachusetts because it is not their property.

With respect to your license issued by Rhode Island, Massachusetts can only suspend your right to drive in Massachusetts. You will still be able to use your license to drive legally outside of Massachusetts.
