Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I want to adopte my wife's 18 year old daughter and her son who's 18 months old. I tried to fill out the paperwork but couldn't figure it out. Is there some place I could go to get this done? I live south of Boston Ma.

Thank you for your question. The clerks in the Probate and Family Court are simply overworked and not permitted to give out legal advice in any event. Our office has been filing petitions for adoption throughout Massachusetts for nearly 10 years, and would love to work with your family as well. We charge a flat fee for uncontested adoptions and hourly for contested situations. Many of the more cumbersome requirements of adoption can be waived because you are contemplating what is called a co-parent or step-parent adoption. Don't hesitate to reach out to our office at 617-358-4898 or [email protected]. Best wishes!
