Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My daughter's guidance counselor is telling her that I am legally required to support her 1005 until she gets out of high school, no matter how she behaves and despite the fact that she turns 18 half way though the school year. . While I plan at this time to do that, she has been a VERY difficult teenager, and is using that advice to try to manipulate me to get more money out of me, before she leaves. Am I required to support her until she is out of high school at age 18 1/2?

Child support can be extended until age 23 if the child is enrolled in school. See Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 34 Section 28.
