Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My father has never been a part of my life, left when I was a baby, never met him and my parents were never married. I'm 24 now and I think I've tracked him down. He's never paid my mom child support or helped in any way. Could I pursue this for some form of back child support or is it too late?

First it depends on whether there was an actual child support order. If there wasn't, nothing can be done. If there was and he didn't pay, your mother would have to pursue it.
