Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My husband and I are happily married and very recently, his parents have told him to divorce me for no reason and have insulted and threatened my entire family (Mom, dad, and brother). They are threatening to sue for grandparents rights to our 4 children and the only reason they have been denied seeing them is due to what I've stated above. We are in Massachusetts, do I need to worry about this?

More information is needed for a full evaluation of this; however, if you and your husband are still on the same team, I do not believe the court would award visitation over both of your objections if the court believes they are being destruction to the family. However, that will not support them for filing for visitation rights and you will have to answer such in court. You should talk to an attorney about this. Please call if you have any questions.

More information is required to determine if there is any reason for their position. If you and your husband are on the same team there is little to worry about.

It is unlikely that a court would grant them relief if they are being destructive to your family. You should contact an attorney in anticipation that they will file suit for visitation.
