Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

What happens when a lawyer does not file for contemt .when the client has not been receiving support payments for.almost 4 wlks.Can I the client call his atterney for any answers.

Generally, you can instruct your attorney to file a contempt complaint or you can file it yourself. Make sure the money is not going through the court or Mass Dept of revenue as they can be slow in forwarding payments.

Your ex's attorney will not speak to you without the consent of your attorney. He is not allowed to do so.
