Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I live in Massachusetts. I have been married for 31/2 years. I want a divorce because of irretrievable breakdown of the marriage. My question is can I legally have my husband evicted from the marital home if I owned it before we got married. I bought it in 2010 and we got married in 2013 and he has never made a payment on it. All payments come out of my account. We do not have joint bank accounts either. He has been unemployed the last 2 years . And if I can how do I go about doing this.... the police keep saying I can't get him to leave unless he threatens me.

You cannot evict him from the marital home. You need to hire an attorney and file for divorce. The attorney will help you Once you file for divorce you can work with your attorney to get him out of the home sooner than later.

Since you have been married for less than 5 years unless he has a disability you will have limited obligations to help him. I cannot stress enough you need to get an attorney to help you. Since you are in the Plymouth area according to your post, I would look for an attorney in Plymouth County for assistance.
