Relinquishing parental rights

What do I have to do in order to have my ex give up her legal rights to our daughter. she is 8 and i have had physical custodty since she was 3. Her mothers has not paid child support in over 6 months and hardley ever does. What do I need to get to do this?

If she signs off, and you file the necessary papers in court, this is a good beginning.

You would need to file a complaint for Modification of your Divorce Judgment, unless you are remarries and she is willing to sign her assent to a Petition for Adoption by your current spouse. Good Luck.
