Under 18 MA contract law

My son, 17, bought a used car from a man. Signed bill of sale ''as is as project car or parts'' I ,mom was not present, He was misled on condition of car, it has frame damage, that was masked to hide it from him. Can he undo the sale?

I believe contracts entered into by persons under 18 are void or voidable. I would need to check to make sure, however. Also, even though the lemon law doesn't apply to private car sales, if there is real evidence the seller hid known defects, you could potentially have misrepresentation and/or fraud claims.

Did you try to research the car's history first tghrough publically available history reports, or not. If not, why not.
