Disorderly conduct

What is the penalty for a 19 years old charge with disorderly conduct, arrested by campus police at UMASS AMHERST.

Technically, the maximum sentence is up to 6 months in jail and/or a $200 fine. Given the age of the charge, however, there may no longer be witnesses available. Have an attorney sift through what's there and hope for a dismissal.

Never assume a charge requires a plea. A criminal defense attorney needs to examine the facts and the report. Then and only then will you have to consider a disposition. You may be able to get pre-trial probation or a CWOF depending on you and your record
