brother obtain green card thru sister who became a us citizen

my sister is marriage, she became US citizen, applied for green card for our mother and she got it. I would like to know if my sister can now apply for a green card for me. I am in US since Dec/2000. Never applied for green card. Came with Visa ... .

I appreciate for your help.

Your sister can submit a visa petition for alien relative on your behalf. However, since brothers and sisters of U.S. Citizens are in the last preference category, your visa will not be immediately available and you will not be able to adjust status to permanent resident until it is. Depending on your country of origin, these visas can take approximately from 10-20 years (sometimes more, depending on the country) to become current.
