Legal Question in Immigration Law in Massachusetts

i have read brief descriptions about in 2015, the new attorney general said courts and officials can consider in assessing whether a crime involves moral turpitude is the language of the criminal statute under which the person was convicted.

Could this new change help people deported that has on their record a crime of moral turpitude?

Where can i read more about this issue?

The primary case, Matter of Silva-Trevino, that detailed the analysis the immigration judges should use to determine if a crime is one involving moral turpitude was rescinded earlier this year. Any case that was pending or was on appeal could be revisited. Whether or not a person who has already been removed from the country can use this as a vehicle to reopen their case is going to depend on facts and circumstances of the individual. Whomever this person is, they should immediately contact a lawyer who works in the criminal-immigration (crimmigration) field for help.
