Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

I worked for an employer in MA for approximately 3 months. This part time opportunity, hours and rate were agreed upon by all parties in advance. I have not been paid for services - approximately $4,000. I no longer work there and have contacted the employer / owner several times (over the past two months) and being told I will get paid when they have cash to pay me. I have only received $100.00 to date.

Thank you for your question and I'm sorry you have been treated this way by your employer.

What your employer has done is entirely illegal, and your employer may now owe you 3 times any wages that are currently due and owing you, plus any attorney's fees required to resolve the situation. Do not delay. Our office has filed suit on behalf of employees in your exact situation and obtained substantial monetary awards. Your case would be taken on a contingent-fee basis, meaning we are paid when and if we are able to recover funds on your behalf. There are steps you must take immediately so make an appointment today. [email protected] | 617-357-4898

I am sorry to hear your employer has behaved this way. His actions are totally illegal. You can recover up to 3 times the money owed to you plus legal fees. The first step is to contact an attorney and then decide precisely how to proceed based on the factual details. If you like you can contact me without obligation.

Do not let this go on too long. Contact an attorney who handles this type of litigation, which I do.
