ilegal apartments

i am getting evicted from what i just found out is an ilegal apartment in which is why i have to vacate. does the landlord have to either reimburse or help me pay for moving expenses?? or only if i take her to court and get a judgement? i only have until 1/1/09 and just found out yesterday to vacate.

To answer your questions specifically you would need to make an appoinment with an attorney to review your full situation including any lease or rental agreements and all correspondence from the landlord, her attorney and the town or city code enforcement agency that declared it an illegal apartment.
