Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

In my rental agreement it specify that I will be responsible for snow removal because it is a single house. Am I actually be responsible for snow removal on the roof too or just the walk way?

Without reading the lease, it is difficult to be definitive. Generally, a landlord is responsible for the roof. The problem here is how the snow removal is described. Usually, people think of that only in reference to the driveway, porch, walkways and sidewalks. The roof is a more unusual circumstance. You can take the position that maintenance of the roof including snow removal is the landlord's responsiblity. You need to look at your lease closely, but I would ask the landlord regardless.
