what do I need to claim ashes of deceased individual

If you are one of the next of kin and there is no will you can Petition for the Ashes. Generally the Personal Representative of an estate is the one who is responsible for the disposition of the decedent's body or ashes. If the decedent has no next of kin and no Will then it becomes more difficult but you can Petition for the ashes of the deceased.
