Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

My parents own a home in Massachusetts which the court has ordered that it by sold by a commissioner. Since the order entered, they have both agreed to remove the commissioner. What type of legal document can they file with the court? [email protected].

It is great that the parties have come to an agreement on the disposition of the property. There is no prepared legal document they can file, and one will have to be prepared dealing specifically with their situation. Are the parties interested in dismissing the action entirely? Have the parties agreed to sell the property together and agreed how to split the proceeds/deficiency? Have the parties agreed that one owner will buyout another owner? The type of agreement or document you need depends on your situation. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss.

As attorney Vaughn-Martel stated your parents need to file there own papers to remove the commissioner. They will need a settlement agreement and a Motion to remove the Commissioner. Assuming this is a divorce and a judgment has entered, I would strongly suggest they retain counsel, if they have not done so already.
