Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

probate settlement

My brother & I signed probate settlement.He was to deliver personal property to my friend,(I don't live in town)instead,he delivered property to my lawyer.Lawyer never checked the boxes.After property was picked up,half of the property was not there.Who is responsible for the mssing property?

An Executor or administrator of an estate is responsible for safeguarding assets of an estate and properly distributing them. that said, your brother should have gotten a receipt itemizing the items he delivered. Good Luck!
