7 steps to admitting a recorded tape into evidence

In a previous posting, Patricia Prince, attorney stated that there was a 7 step process in which to have a recorded tape admitted into evidence. I have search extensively and cannot find what she is referring to. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

The steps involve laying a proper foundation for admission into evidence. Are the tapes authentic? That is the question. Perhaps, you should ask Ms. Prince to clarify.

Any practical book on evidence for lawyers will have this information; you can find this information in any law library. The list certainly has to do with proving the tape is what it says it is, that it is a reliable piece of evidence, that it has not been tampered with since creation, etc..
