You need to immediately contact DirecTV and your banking institution informing them that an unauthorized transaction was made in your account and both need to investigate. You may need to file a fraud report with your bank if you did not authorize the transaction. Put all communications in writing. Does DirecTV have a Judgment against you, or are you a current customer? What is their explanation for the charge? Perhaps it is for something that you owed under your contract with them, but didn't realize you would be charged for it, or had already authorized the charge. Check the fine print of what you agreed to and/or DirecTV should be able to point you in the proper direction.

If you did not authorize the transaction and cannot obtain a refund through these methods, then you may need to pursue a small claims against and/or an action for violation of Michigan's Consumer Protection Act, which you can review on the state's website for more tips and information.
