Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan

I bought a used car from a private party who advertised 99,xxx miles. On the odometer is also said 99,xxx miles. I bought the car from him and my own fault, I didn't check the top of the title at first or get a carfax. When I got home, I noticed the title said " Not actual miles", I did a carfax on this and it said the odometer either didn't work or had been tampered with, the odometer does work, so it has to be tampered with. Is there anything I can do?
