Yes, if it may contain relevant information. It is no different from normal "correspondence," except in the way that it must be gathered. You need to be very specific about what you are asking for. For example, you may ask for "all correspondence between X and Y, including e-mail between the dates of ___ and ___. E-mail correspondence is to contain all header information and attachments." Get the tech's name who is completing the production request with the request, so you can take his deposition, if it's a big enough money case. Then READ the e-mail's to make sure that you have everything referenced.
