Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

credit card debit

My husband and I owe money but can't pay these debts because we live on social security just getting by. We don't own home or property have no saving accounts or other income can they take are social security?

Social Security income is exempt from garnishment and cannot be garnished from your bank account. If you have no other assets or income, your creditors will not be able to collect on a debt/judgment.
