Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

I filed bankruptcy which was final in Feb.2010 and reaffirmed a car loan. During the proceedings I was behind on 2 paym'ts. I contacted the Fin. Inst.& they agreed to accept a moneygram. I then sent it and they did not collect the funds and they came and took my car. They now say rhe bal. due is almost 9,000. What do I do at this point. I receive a pension and ssi are they able to garnishee my pay?

SSI is exempt from garnishment. Your pension funds, once they are deposited in your account are not, so yes they are subject to garnishment. http://www.wolverinelaw.com
