I want to be sure I have the facts correct. The lender claimed it was a straw purchase and repossessed the vehicle on that basis? Then you demanded it back and they refused. Now, after having sold it, they are now suing you and you still have time to file an answer (21 days personal service or 28 days by certified) to the lawsuit? You could have a defense to their claims, depending upon the facts, and you could counter-sue assuming you have time to file an answer and counterclaims.
