Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

The cops had a search warrant to search my house, it was for my dads possesion of marijuana, but they had taken my dad to jail the day before, I was home alone, im 15, when they knocked on the door and yelled search warrant, I called my mother, which at the moment, was trying to get my dad out, said dont let them in, let them kick the door down, and when they did, the cops pointed a gun at my dog and said they were gonna shoot him, and I yelled please dony with my hands in the air, and when I did, this one cop looked at me, gritted his teeth, and kicked me right in my chest into my kitchen table, then threw me to the ground, put a gun to the back of my head and asked where the money was. I told them we took what we had to get my dad out, at that moment, he stood me up, made me lock all the dogs up then arrested me, can they legally arrest me for something I had no involvement in?

An arrest in only an allegation. It is not a conviction. Your parents should hire an experienced criminal attorney to fight for you. They should also consult with a civil rights attorney to determine whether the police acted improperly in assaulting you.

Arrest you for what? If you have been charged, you need to be represented by an experienced criminal defense attorney. Also, look for an attorney that specializes in 1983 police abuse civil rights cases. Even better, find an attorney that does both.
