Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
A few days ago my best frend found my gun outside the liquor store. she picked it up not thinking it was a real gun and put it in her purse. she drove off and while at a train stop she picked up the gun from her purse and starte playing with it.. it actually went off and she shot herself. someone took her to the emergency room. while there the police said she was going to jail for having a gun. now whats going to happen to her this is her 2nd offense(the 1st was retail fraud).? is she going to need a lawyer?
