Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

im currently on probation for possession of marijuana. I was recently arrested but never was given a ticket and was told I'd get something in the mail and wasn't taken to jail. Two days later i told my P.O. about the incident thinking it would be best to be honest, obviously that was a violation. However i still haven't received a ticket in the mail from the incident and now have a violation of probation. what should i do if i never receive a ticket for the incident?
