Retail Fraud

I was convicted of Retail Fraud 3 and 1/2 yrs ago. I am now wanted to go to nursing school. How can I do this with this on my record for another 1 and 1/2 yrs. I have been clean since.

Your question is "how can you go to nursing school with a retail fraud on my record?"? And this was posted in the Criminal Law section of lawguru.com???

Criminal lawyers probably can't give you much help with this ... because it's really asking about the impact a criminal conviction may have on an educational pursuit. You should re-post this question in another section.

There is nothing you can do in the crimnal case to speed up the process to set aside your conviction. You must wait 5 years after you were convicted. And, you cannot have ANY other misdemeanor or felony conviction anywhere at any other time in your life.
