Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
If a woman in her forties goes on a teen forum, posing as a teen herself, an engages in explicit sexual discussions with the children on said forum, is this illegal? If so, what is the statute of limitations? The woman resided in Michigan at the time, but the kids were from all over the globe.

Yes- that is illegal. Depending on what happened, the statute of limitations could be 10 years or more. Someone charged with this will need a lawyer. This is a serious issue.
