Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

I was wondering if anone can help me with a few questions ok on 7-6-2010 i was shopping in meijer and on my way out loss prevention stopped me cause i did not pay for a 20 oz pop and well when we got into there little office they were not worried abut the pop they were asking me questons about why i return so much stuff they called it returning stolen merchandise well make a long story short they were not gonna take me to jail they said they were still investigating the other case and they were not gonna press charges over the pop well my id had gotten chewed up by my dog so they called the police just to get a positiive id on me well i had a warrant for dwls so of course i went to jail however i had 2 charges retail fraud and dwls i got bonded out that day and i went to court today for my arraignment and they said nothing about the investagation that loss prevention said they were doing i plead not guilty to both charges and i have to go back on wendsday for a pre trail thing so i wanted to know do i have anything to worry about out with the investagation or no everyone says that if they had any thng on me then they would of already charged me with it however when they stopped me they didtake a bunch of reciepts and some tags or upc codes out of my purse should i get a lawyer or just wait and see if they come arrest me again or press charges on me please help im so onfused iv never really been in truble before well except 3 years ago i got charged with mdop all i had to do is pay a fine i broke someones window out of pure anger thank you very much
