Legal Question in DUI Law in Michigan

I was arrested for an OWI. Hired a great lawyer and he plead my case out, with these stipulations: I had to admit guilt for the charge. I was to have a restricted license for 90 days and as long as I didn't incur any additional offenses during that time, the entire case would be dismissed. The court case charge WAS dropped, but Michigan Secretary of State is saying they aren't removing it from my driving record. Can they keep it on record when the documentation to support that will be destroyed after 60 days?

It depends on how the plea was taken. Unless the plea was taken under advisement, it will probably remain on your driving record. Contact your attorney to see if the plea was taken properly or if there are any grounds to withdraw the plea or if you have any other avenues for relief.
