expunge from record
I would like to know about having prior owi ( 1st offense ) and dui (1st offense ) removed from my permanent record. I am seeking directed student teaching and believe school districts will eliminate me from their pool of candidates due to my prior misdemeanors.

Re: expunge from record
The statute governing expungement in Michigan does not allow a person to have a conviction for a traffic offense (including drunk driving) set-aside. There is no way to have these removed from your Master Driving Record either.
