Legal Question in DUI Law in Michigan

why does a person's (my son) mip records from 12 years ago show up on his driving record? It has nothing to do with driving - in was minors in possession

How do you expunge a public intoxication I chose DUI law even though neither of these questions have to do with driving - thank you

A driving record is permanent as long as you live. State law mandates that MIP's go on the record. Expungement only works if you have one crime on your record (e.g. MIP) starting from your 17th birthday.
