I have a pretrial for an open intoxication misdemeanor charge in Michigan.
Is it possible to get it reduced to a civil infraction?
The deputy gave me the open intoxication ticket instead of a possible drunk driving even though I never received a breathalyzer test but failed a field sobriety test. I did not have an open container in my vehicle.
What do I do?
