Legal Question in DUI Law in Michigan

warrents

a friend got a dui in 1989, and never went to court, moved out of state. will a warrent still be out for his arrest after all these years, if so what are the consequences?

The bench warrant will be outstanding until he appears in court to take care of it. If he has any contact with law enforcement, he may be arrested.
