Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I am 18 and pregnant but I do not wish for the father of my child to be in out lives. What are the laws about putting his name on the birth certificate? How can I legally not have him in our lives?

He does have the right to be in the child's life however, the duration, frequency, and other restrictions in regard to his parenting time can be restricted through court order. Feel free to contact me on my alternate number to discuss further. I need more information to adequately address your question.

He will always be part of the child's life, if he is the father.

You can't. He is the father. Children need fathers.

Deal with it.
