Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

My beatiful kids were removed by CPS in March. We have complied with everything and will complete every service before the next court date. Can I have my court appointed lawyer request greater visitation and unsuperivsed visits? Also, I have been to court twice already and my case worker always says something different than what she tells us. Aren't we entitled to a review before court of what she is going to recommend in court? Can I tape the conversation? Also, judge ordered any reasonable visitation as much as possible supervised? Yet I see my babies two hours a week ? Should I request/demand more visitation or would it be better to go to court and complain it hasn't been meet and ask for even greater visitiation rigts such as unsupervised visits?
