Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I am looking for a child custody attorney that does not need a $2,000 retainer as I only work part time and am interested in regaining custody of my son.

There are a few different possibilities. There are legal clinics around the state that provide services for women or single mothers at low or no cost. You can try calling some large law firms and ask if they have pro bono services. Also, some law schools have free or low-cost legal clinics that they use as a training ground for their students.

Or you can call a new lawyer who is trying to build a practice (such as myself) who may be willing to work for little or no cost just to get some experience.
