Re: Child Support

It can be amended however the parties reasonably agree. However, one parent can't send the kids to private school and then get out of child support.

Excellent opportunity to mediate in the best interests of your children.

If Wayne Mediation can't help you, there are plenty of excellent mediators who specialize in family law and the Ann Arbor Center can help with that.

Try Zena Zumeta in A2; Anne Bachle-Fifer or Robert Wright in Western Michigan for direct mediation or referrals.

Re: Child Support

If you are talking about tuition while the child is still a minor, such as for a private school or day care, then yes, it is possible to do this - it all depends on what the judge deems fair to the parties. if you are talking about college tuition, then chances are no, the courts will not require either parent to pay for a child's college tuition, or anything after high school.

thanks.
