Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I am trying to be in my daughters life. Her mother left 1 week before she was born. She was born in the same state I live in so I filed for paternity establishment. The case is now an open case in the county she was born and where her mother resided. It has now been brought to my attention they she has left the state. What should I do in this matter? Will she have to return due to the fact that there is an open paternity case? Can she just up and leave the state while there is an open case?

You need to IMMEDIATELY meet with an experienced family law attorney to figure out whether you can get a court order to bring the child back to Michigan. Do not delay because that will hurt your case.
