Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
Once a divorce is final, can my ex take an annulment (that he is now in the process of trying to obtain) from the Catholic Church and overturn our divorce decree and obtain a civil annulment instead?
Divorced over 5 years.

No. An annulment from the Church is for the internal use of the church and parishioners only. It has no bearing or effect of any kind on the legal divorce through the court system.
