Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

divorce with no maratial property

I have only been married for 3 months and there is no children property or money to divide, do I still have to fill out all the paperwork pertaining to finances or poperty or can I just file a non-contested divorce petition with the court?

No matter what, you just file a petition with the court to get divorced. The property is only an issue if one of the parties makes it an issue. Bill Stern 248-353-9400

Chances are, hiring an attorney for this would be inexpensive and it's better to be safe than sorry, especially considering that (a) there may be things you do not know about the opposing party and/or (b) you can ensure that no procedural mistakes are made.
