Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

My father passed way in November of 2013 and we've been estranged pretty much sinc my birth. Four months have passed (now August 2014) and I'm being told here is now a Will. His sister will not own up to it, but she's not very trustworthy to begin with. Is there any way to find out if there really is a Will or even anything he's left behind that I could claim, his only known child?

You could check the Probate Court in the county he lived in to see if there is an estate open. You can open an estate as well, then really investigate. Do you believe he had substantial assets? Call me to discuss.
