Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

What kind of form do I need to file with the court in order to get full custody of my children. My soon to be ex husband threatens to keep my children and not give them back. He lives at home with his parents, bounces around jobs and women, was only taking them two days a week and has not provided anything for the kids. Not to mention gets verbally violent in front of them and tries picking them up at unreasonable hours. what should I do.

There is no cookie cutter "form" for your situation. When you file your complaint for divorce you can request ex parte or interim orders to address the custodial / parenting time issues pending the outcome of the case. These are complicated matters that should be handled through counsel. Feel free to contact me for more information. I need more information to give you my opinion as to what you should do. You may reach me on my alternate business line over the weekend. Please see cbrownlegal.com for more information.

There are no forms to fill out to get full custody. Your attorney can write up an appropriate motion and schedule an evidentiary hearing for custody. This is a complex legal proceeding, not a form. You can read more about custody in the Detroit and Northville area at:
