Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Misc

I filed for a QDRO when I filed my Divorce. The Judge granted my uncontested Divorce; however, the Plan that had to approve the QDRO said a sentence in it had to be corrected. I fixed it and the percent I would receive from the QDRO went from 25% to 45%. Do I need to resubmit this to the Court? Can I just send it to the Judge who granted my Divorce or do I even have to do anything at all?

The requirements of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) and most plan administrators are very precise and allow no room for error. If you want a distribution, you need a local attorney, preferably one that that has experience in drafting QDROs.
