Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I am paying court ordered alimony in the state of Michigan. My ex-wife has since become a dependent of someone else. Can this impact my Alimony?

You will be bound by the terms of your judgment of divorce. A well prepared divorce judgment takes into account remarriage and things of that nature. If your divorce judgment requires payment of alimony without circumstances that would obviate the payment, you will most likely be stuck paying.
