Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

appropriate questions

Is it legal to ask why Bill Stern is allowed to answer questions, when it seems to me ,most of his answers are snide remarks. Most people here aren't attorneys and are asking valid questions. Not everybody has $150 an hour to pay an attorney, and come here for a little advice.Thats what this website is for, isnt it?RTW

Re: appropriate questions

You are free to post any question you wish on this listserve. If an attorney believes it is inappropriate for this forum he has the ability to reject it. Without knowing the question to which Mr. Stern replied it is impossible for anyone to give you an informed reply. I have no idea if indeed Mr. Stern's answer to your query was snide or not. Paying an attorney $150.00 an hour is a bargain, I expect and receive an hourly fee of $500.00 per hour.

Re: appropriate questions

I really don't know what question or answer you are referring to. If you tell me what answer you object to, perhaps I could explain my answer. While most of my answers are short, they are right on the mark. Bill Stern

Re: appropriate questions

Also, I have been an attorney for 26 years and have a pretty good reputation. I try to chop through the extraneous stuff and get to the meat. Bill Stern
